Lot of times my students ask me this question:
"Varun, what is EduHubSpot story? How did it all start?"
So, here it is 😊
It all started in year 2012 when I started preparing for my PMP.
I come from a middle-class family and my father is a retired Mathematics professor back in India.
So now you know, from where I got my teaching skills. 😊 😊 I was in my late twenties when I cleared my PMP.
I knocked all the big-small training companies that I would like to teach PMP, give me a chance but the typical response I used to get was:
“Varun, you are too young, sorry”
I didn’t loose hope and I kept on trying.
One fine day after 1 year of struggle, I finally got a call from a company X who offered me the job of PMP trainer.
I gave my first training in Cleveland, Ohio. Students loved it
But
I didn’t get paid
Infact, the company whom I got associated with was a fraudulent company who always used newbies like me as their trainers for their classes and in response they never use to pay them.
But this didnt stop me. Inspite of knowing that they will not pay me, I continued to teach
Why?
I was building my brand. People started to know who Varun is
I started making money, but I had a different Vision. I wanted to build a legacy and I knew I couldn’t do it alone.
That is when I discussed this with my best friend/roommate Chirag who was a software developer.
I explained what I want to do and it was in 2016, EduHubSpot (Aka Certification education providers) was born
Chirag started to get his hands dirty on the code and I started to work on product (Youtube Videos)
But fast forward life, we trained thousands and thousands of students all over the world. Travelled a lot and delivered trainings
In 2020, Covid hit. It was a disastrous period for all of us. People were losing job, and this is when we decided to expand our team. Recruited people who lost their job and got ready for the new norm (Online World).
Got love from people all over the world. Got many gifts which I still use it to make Chirag Jealous 😊😊
Expanded our catalog of courses, opened a new office in US and Saudi Arabia, made lot of updates, partnered with lot of mentors who put people first and offcourse made lot of money.
But never forgot our roots.
Chirag and I are still best friends with same common vision: “Be simple and do whatever it takes provide the best training in the world”
